What is Horse Masters?
Horse Masters is a premier program designed for adult equestrian enthusiasts. It's a perfect mix of riding experience and horse care education, tailored for adults who have a deep love for horses. Whether you're starting your equestrian journey or looking to enhance your existing skills, Horse Masters offers a comprehensive and fulfilling experience, integrating practical skills with the rich knowledge of horse management, all within a vibrant equestrian community.
USPC Standards of Proficiency (SOP) and Rating Certifications
Our program proudly aligns with the United States Pony Club (USPC) Standards of Proficiency (SOP), providing a pathway for members to achieve USPC rating certifications. This structured learning approach ensures that members gain recognized qualifications in horse management and riding skills, marking each milestone in your journey with us at Sandy Creek.
Horse Masters Sessions Schedule
Horse Masters is held at KJ Equestrian, bringing you an exclusive experience one Saturday every month at 9:00 AM. To accommodate the diverse schedules of our adult members, we've chosen a consistent, monthly rhythm that allows for meaningful progression in your equestrian skills. For specific dates, please refer to our calendar on the website, where you can find all the upcoming sessions and special events.
Membership Requirement
To participate in Horse Masters, you must be a member of the Sandy Creek Pony Club. To join, simply email us at sandycreekcdc@gmail.com with your full name and contact details including phone number and current email address for an invitation. Being a member opens the door to the enriching experiences and opportunities our Horse Masters program offers.
How to Join Horse Masters
After you’re a member of Sandy Creek Pony Club, confirm your attendance for Horse Masters with Kim, the District Commissioner. You can do this by texting 361-658-3888 or in person. This confirmation is important to ensure a personalized and organized experience for each session.
Dues for Horse Masters
There are two types of dues for Horse Masters:
- $20.00 for unmounted horse management sessions.
- $40.00 for sessions that include a mounted lesson on your own horse.
These dues are designed to cater to your specific interests and needs, whether you’re focusing on horse management skills or combining these with practical riding lessons.
